As well as having a whole host of dog friendly facilities onsite, we’re also surrounded by 950 square kilometres of national park for you to walk, explore and conquer! At Woodland Springs we’ve tried to make everything as dog friendly as possible. If you’re wanting to burn off a little of their morning energy, then we’ve got an enclosed field that they can run around to the heart’s content! If they’re muddy after a day out, we’ve also added a purpose-built dog shower that has proven to be particularly popular with owners wanting to wash their dog down after a long day on the moor.  New foe 2022 we now have an all-weather dog agility area with professional quality equipment for you to enjoy.

Dartmoor National Park is a great place for any dog owner. With many walking trails and miles to explore, there are also a number of dog friendly pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy along the way. A large number of the best visitor attractions – from lakes to National Trust properties – are also dog friendly. If you’re looking to plan a day out with your dog, the Visit Dartmoor website is a great resource for you to use before and during your stay.
